Combofix

I had a computer infected with a search results rootkit. It redirected (hijacked) a person search results to other sites. So if you did a Google search on "dogs" Google would come back with the correct results and all would look fine, if you clicked on the link you went to a different site than Google displayed.
After trying everything I knew to fix this and failing I ran combofix, at this point I was ready to rebuild the whole machine, Combofix found the root kit and removed it the and computer worked fine after that.
